33 - Jessica Spring Aims to "Keep It Clean"

Field trip! We visited the Tacoma studio of letterpress and book artist Jessica Spring. (Hey, when you think "happening art scene," do you think "Tacoma?" Well, believe us, you should. There's some amazing stuff going on there.) While Jessica's dog gently snored at our feet, we chatted about printmaking, the bizarre places ideas come from, and how Jessica would divide the labor if she had a team of clones. And then she gives us to our own challenge with a set of word dice!
